Leonard Cheshire Disability supports over 21,000 disabled people in the UK and works in 52 countries. We campaign for change and provide innovative services that give disabled people the opportunity to live life their way.  

With genuinely national coverage, we have long-standing expertise in the provision of a wide range of social care services, including supported living to a broad range of client groups including people with physical impairments, people with learning difficulties, older people and people with an acquired brain injury.  

Our services have a strong focus on meeting individual needs and maximising independence and community participation.  

Leonard Cheshire Disability has a significant growth and development plan including developments in all areas of our current operations but with specific emphasis on transition support services, supported living, domiciliary care and day support services.   

Our day support services and resource centres provide disabled people with an opportunity to learn new skills and perhaps gain a qualification, or learn a skill that may lead on to employment.  Our resource services include local information services; educational facilities; family support; transport and therapeutic services.  

We are also leading the way in developing groundbreaking sustainable approaches to supporting disabled people in the UK.  The initiatives range from supporting entrepreneurs start-up in business, supporting people through education and guidance into employment, providing access to IT, Information, media training and health and well-being projects.
